I am not a Food Guru, or a Nutrition Expert, however I do have a lot of experience with food, I've been eating it all my life. I am also not a nutrition fanatic, I'm just someone who believes healthy food can be tasty and delicious. I am not a vegan, I am a carnivore/omnivore. I believe trans fat makes food taste better and I put salt on my trans fat cooked food. I do however accept as fact, that too much of a good thing can be bad. As Shakespeare said, "Thou hath partaketh in too much of a good thing, Scotch Straight Up". Yes, Larry Shakespeare said that once on a Friday night, June 1996.

If my positions and perspective turn you off or you are offended, I do apologize to you. I am not trying to offend you or chase you away. I just want to be up front with everyone. I would not try to insult anyone by posing as an expert. I am sure that many of you who wind up here, at this site, because you have an interest in "Eating Healthy", probably have a deeper and wider knowledge base than I have on the subject, which is why the plan for this site is to be interactive. Make this site yours too. Share your knowledge, pass on some advice or ask your questions. That's why I'm stating this here, on the "Home Page", I'm just trying to gather and share information on the subject of eating healthy. |
The goal to eating healthy, is to balance what you eat. Everybody knows that, so this site will be unique because we shall have fun discovering a balance between nutritous and tasty.
